Duke needs saving...

Are you able to assist in anyway in finding a suitable home for a dog in care in Rouse Hill.
His name is Duke and he is a 1.5 year old desexed Aussie Bulldog. He was surrendered to us because the family could not handle him. He is a very lovely boy, just needs a firm owner.
Here is his petrescue link http://www.petrescue.com.au/view/24724

Thank you Dee for posting the info.
I know that he was surrendered without papers (to be expected!) so there is no info about his background.

The shelter manager said that he has fantastic personality and will make a great companion. I think he's had very little training, hence the note about little children. He was probably left in the backyard and got over-excited whenever he saw a human, large or small.  Like any typical AB, he just wanted to be loved and to participate in family life.

Duke has a home

This is the email I got from  Merryn Mackay, Shelter Manager from Cordelia's Canine Rescue
"Duke went to his new home today! Lovely couple who had a small Aussie
Bulldog already. They got on sooo well it was great! Will be enjoying
long walks along Avoca Beach each morning, lucky boy.

Thanks for helping us out with finding him a home. So far you are the
most professional breed group I've delt with. :)
"

Love the happy endings and pats on the back to the ABS.

Thanks so much, but... I really did nothing at all All credit goes to Dee and Janice and Pip who let everyone know. I think there is so much good will amonst us, AB parents, that it was bound to happen.
My major concern is that we may miss an AB who is running out of time. Hopefully, we will be able to address this too thanks to Vickie, Paula and Allison.
