Hello All,
I'm Lesley and a new proud mum to my first AB, Geisha.
In making my decision to get an AB this site has been so helpful with the breed specific advice and I'm sure it will continue to be a great source of information for me.
A little about me, I'm in Melbourne, and while this is my first AB I have had dogs before, Jack Russells to be exact so this is all a little new. It's also such a long time since I have had a puppy so that has been exciting too! Trying to make the most of it as they are not so little for long.
Anyway, Hello from me and thanks again.

Hi Lesley and welcome to this great forum - you will soon be just as addicted as the rest of us.
Lovely to have you with this and your bub is a pretty girl. I look forward to seeing her grow, yep the ABs and somewhat different to Jack Russells! Not quite as fast I think. Which is probably a good thing.....
although they can be just as cheeky

Thank you everyone.
I got her here in Melbourne from a breeder around the corner from me. Which I found much easier than shopping for one interstate as I could go over and interact with them and choose. She is ABCA registered... I hope that's OK.  I just found this site so full of information I had to join!
She was so small as she was from a huge litter but is growing up so much and catching up to the other AB's at Puppy School very quickly.
I don't think there is any way I can stop at only one AB either. My partner is absolutely convinced already (after only 3 weeks with Geisha) that we need another. He's already put the feelers out. |

Hey Lesley, any Aussie/Australian Bulldog doesn't matter what the registry is,...are totally WELCOME here after all,...IT"S ABOUT THE DOGS 
Sounds like you've got the AB bug,... sorry but the only cure is another one  |

Well yeah.. and I think he is coming around too!!! But it will still only be 5 doggies as Pigzy will be moving once the pups are ready to leave... So we will have Jazzy, Gizmo, Tozca, Bozo and Za (hopefully)
