Hello all
Introducing two new additions to our home. Cornwall's Caffrey and Stella. Caffrey (male) and Stella (female) has just turned 12 weeks and are adjusting to their new home surroundings well.
The last two weeks has been exhausting with little sleep, however we love them both to bits, despite their mischief (double trouble) and continous play fights - who can get angry at such adorable faces.
We are located in Perth WA and notice that this forum has many WA members.

 Yay some more beautiful Aussies in Perth
Hey Brett and Claudia, we're from Perth too, Stella and Caffrey are gorgeous 
We have a Aussie/Australian Bulldog funday here same time, same place every year, this year will be our fourth and each year we have more and more gorgeous AB's joining us.
This years will be on Sunday October 26th details will be posted in the funday section of this forum closer to time, we'd love to see you there. |

Hi Claudia and Brett, welcome to the forum! Caffrey and Stella are little stunners! Great pix, I love the one of Caffrey asleep with his tongue out and what was left of their bed! I hope you'll post more pix as they grow. |

Will definitely be there for the Fun Day!!
I could spend all day writing about our new AB's and take a billion photos, but I'm sure you guys have had many more similar experiences as I am going through!! I'll continue to post photos of course - as there will be more priceless ones no doubt.
These forums are fantastic - it's good to see even though people have differences in opinion, everyone respects each other for the love of AB's!!
This forum is great - I haven't even finished reading it all yet since I've become member. My fiance thinks I spend too much time on the forums!! he he. Between the computer and the pups, think he's feeling a tad neglected. |

Hey Claudia, we recently got a gorgeous lil girl named Tozca and we are now getting her brother, Za too!
Plus we have a litter of around 8 pups to be born next week, aswell as our other babies (Jazz, Bozo, Gizmo and mum dog Pigzy), so we are going to have our hands full aswell!
Its great watching the mischief they get into, and it doesnt stop once they grow up either!!! Jazz is our oldest girl at 4 and a half and although is the "mum" of the family (including us) she still has her fun times aswell!!!

Claudia and Brett!
I hope you have fun on the forum, it's a great place and there are always helpful hints for ensuring you give your AB's the best start to life as you can! Your two look like right little monkeys! Sooooo cute! They sound like they've got you wrapped around their little paws already too!
They're both stunning looking babies I love the pic with them both together on the chair! Good to see their following in the footsteps of a few other ABs on the forum who also love their chairs!

Hey Claudia, it's such a small world my hubby played indoor cricket last night with a gentleman by the name of Kyle, he has just bought a Labradore pup and takes it to puppy school. He was saying to my hubby cos he knows we breed them that theres a Stella and Caffrey there and that he now wishes he had bought an Aussie Bulldog cos they're awsome |

Hey Claudia and Brett.
Just having another look at your babes, and picture 4 of them on the hessian bed... Please please please dont let them continue to sleep on that!
Hessian beds and Bulldogs dont mix very well, they are renound for causing eye problems and after having gone thorugh that myself with Bozo, I can tell you it is not a nice thing to see or have to treat!
I dont mean to scare you, but it really is better for Caffrey and Stella if they dont sleep on the hessian bed.

Thank you Thank you!! Vicki and Mick for the advice. We have noticed their eyes a little redder over the last few days. Will changed it immediately over to the canvass. I wouldn't want any problems - thanks a million! I love these forum for this reason!!
Such a small world Dee!! Perth is known for that!! Yes, Jet - Kyle's gorgeous lab is in our class! Jet is gorgeous though I do know Kyle loves our AB's. He even said to the trainer after day 1 he wished he got an AB!! Jet is great though, just full of energy like all Lab's. |

I had a look at those adorabull pup's photo's they are great.
What lovely looking babies....
Sorry my welcome is late I'm a shift worker....yuk

Since the warning on the Hessian bed, I'm really quite worried. Should I take Caffrey and Stella to the vet or are there signs I should look for that may show they have problems?
We noticed their eyes slowly going red in the last few days - nothing too bad, just redder. They have had the bed since we've had them (2 weeks) and use it when they are outside in the enclosed paved area. About an hour every morning, 1-2 hours at lunch and 4 hours in the evening.

I would just keep an eye on them for now... Normally if there was a problem they would have a yellowy greeny thick gunk coming out of their eyes.
If the redness doenst settle in a few days I would just take them to be sure |

Thanks Vickie and Mick. Think it's fine. I did notice sleep in their eyes also over the past two weeks, however it was only tiny amounts. Since changing their beds over to the canvass bed, the redness in their eyes has disappeared - amazing! It was never really that bad, but something I had notice!
